MicrobeFiber™ Cures Tina’s Tummy Troubles

For the past few blogs I have been extolling the values of adding fiber to your diet.  I have also told you about the many ways in which fiber can aid everything from digestion, to weight loss.  I have also shown you how using an FDA-approved fiber supplement like MicrobeFiber can make the process of adding fiber to your diet quick and easy.   For today’s blog, I would like to do something a bit different.  Instead of explaining yet more reasons to jump on the fiber band wagon, I thought I would allow one of my patients to tell you about her experience.

My name is Tina and I started taking Microbefiber 6 months ago.  About 7-8 years before that, I had a lap band surgery done to help me lose weight.  I lost over 100 pounds, which thrilled me, until the band slipped and I was forced to take more than 20 pills per day to deal with the complications and the pain. It was to the point where I started to regurgitate my food every time I ate.  I only found out after the fact that what happens when your lap band slips is that it can be difficult to pass any food through to your digestive tract.

Everything I was eating was coming right back up.  When that happens it also causes severe abdominal pain, along with nausea that can last for hours or even days.  In my case, it also caused acid reflux.  This resulted in everything from chest pains to an ulcer.  My diet soon became limited to soup, mashed potatoes and gravy.  I was unable to eat any cooked or raw vegetables.  I could only eat meat if it was ground to a pulp.  So basically, I was drinking all my meals.

Due to the fact that I didn’t have any health insurance, I was unable to afford the corrective surgery that could have fixed the lap band.  Since the cost of the procedure would have run anywhere from $10,000-$20,000, which I couldn’t afford, I had to search for another solution.

When I was introduced to MicrobeFiber, it was to help me lose weight.  After taking it awhile, I stared to notice I was able to eat food that I was previously unable to digest, like cooked carrots,.  It also made it possible to wean myself from several medications that I had been takng to deal with the gas and acid reflux issues.  I had been using everything from Mylanta, Prilosec and Tagemet every day to help settle my stomach.  Once I started taking MicrobeFiber, I found out my stomach started to feel better.  So, I didn’t have to take these medications any more.

Today I feel that I don’t need the surgery any more.  My stomach is healing and I’m back to eating a healthy diet, including salads, meat, fruit and vegetables.  Best of all, I no longer find myself regurgitating any of my food.  What works best for me is to take 2 ½ scoops of MicrobeFiber every morning and 2 ½ scoops every night.  While 50 grams of fiber a day sounds like a lot, not only has it helped me begin eating solid food again, but I no longer take any of the medications I previously needed in order to eat food of any kind.

For more than 3 years I was forced to live for on nothing but soup, mashed potatoes and gravy.   My stomach has been a mess for so long that it was unable to repair itself.  As it gets better, I’m sure that this is also helping the rest of my body to heal as well.  Now I find that I have way more energy than I did in a long time.   I used to feel exhausted by the time I got home from work.  Even simple chores like washing the dishes used to wipe me out.  Now I’m out there mowing the lawn after work.  I’ve also started jogging, which is something I didn’t even do in my twenties.

That’s not to say this change happened overnight.  When I started taking MicrobeFiber, I limited myself to one scoop in the morning and one in the evening for a total of 20 grams of fiber per day.  Because of my digestive issues, I didn’t want to take too much fiber too quickly.  But once I started seeing the difference to my health, I gradually ramped up my fiber to 50 grams per day and this has worked wonders for me.  I’m not saying that the average person necessarily needs to take that much fiber every day.  I’ve just found that that’s the amount I use to avoid having to take those other medications.

The wonderful thing about MicrobeFiber is that it has no taste.  So, you can put it on anything.  I mix it into my salad dressing and shake it up.  Then I pour it onto my salad without even knowing it’s there.  You can put it into a bowl of cereal.  As soon as you pour on the milk it disappears.  I even put it in with eggs before scrambling.

I can’t say enough about this product.  It has not only helped me with my tummy troubles, but it kept me from having to endure another surgery.  I mean, you can have stomach problems if you take too many aspirins.  But I have experienced absolutely nothing but good things with this.  It took me three years to throw my digestion out of balance.  After taking MicrobFiber, it only took me three months to restore that balance and begin eating solid food again.  It has been a life changing event for me.

Whether it's aspartame, fillers or flavoring, many fiber supplements have additives. Microbefiber has NO additives! The contents of our product is designated by the FDA as GRAS, which is the FDA designation that a substance added to food is considered safe by experts and so is exempted from the usual Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). Try Microbefiber and you will see the difference!

  1. Many of the health issues we face every day are due to problems in our gut. Since I made MicrobeFiber part of my diet, I have noticed a significant reduction in health issues that routinely plagued me.

  2. There is no doubt in my mind that fiber and probiotics really help with digestion and intestinal fortitude in general. I love em!
